L-Shaped kitchen
Check out blog couple Anette and Toril from Norway home kitchen. The walls are maximize utilize for shelve storage. Instead of using wall cabinets, cups, mugs, canisters and other decorative items are displayed on three shelves.
Wooden bamboo shades partially covers the window allowing minimal sunlight into the kitchen. The kitchen may seem a little small but the couple decided to fix the space into an L-shaped kitchen to utilize the walls.

Creative Doodling on kitchen floor
Everyone loves to doodle but sketches and scribbles are never limited on paper only. Swedish freelance designer Olle Hemmendorff decided to get creative to turn his new white plastic kitchen floor into doodles and he did it with only a fat black marker.
With no layout plans or drafts, he doodled all over his kitchen floor. The original wooden floor was replaced with a white plastic vinyl film before the doodling was done.
His idea is certainly eye catching and of course something out of the box.

Kitchen storage
Arrange them, mix them, stack them… There is never a rule for storage. Lay them out, stack them in cabinets, and divide them in drawers or any other creative manner to make your kitchen more functional.
Keep items that are often used in an open storage manner; store them in baskets or arrange them on shelves. Ensure that these items are easily seen, reached and stored.

Message and notes on cabinets
Magnetic cabinet doors are useful as you can leave notes, shopping list or an itinerary easily with a magnet on it. What’s more, it is more than just a display board. You could also keep stuff in small metal containers and place them on the cabinet doors.
If you would like to add a magnetic surface on your existing cabinets, apply layers of magnetic latex primer. This coating allows you to create a magnetic surface anywhere indoor whether it is wooden surface, aluminum or just dry wall. Alternatively, you could also use magnetic paint.
