It is a hassle getting a missing knob replaced. The question is not about how did it go missing but it is getting this problem solve. It might take ages to find a similar type of knob with the ones you have.
Modifying the drawer might be the best solution. Drill a bigger hole with a diameter about 3-5cm on the place where the knob was once located. Drill more holes for a better effect. Although this method might not work with thick woods, consider using a jigsaw to drill holes.
Placing stickers onto the stain area might be able to help too if drilling holes is a problem.
